Saudi cooperates with Yemen's agricultural sector

The Minister of Agriculture and Irrigation, Mansour al-Hawshabi, said that Yemen and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are cooperating well in agricultural and on combating trans-boundary animal diseases.

In a statement to the News Yemen website, the minister also said that the future will see further cooperation between the two neighbors aiming at boosting exports and imports, confronting agricultural diseases, supporting farmers and coordinating on agricultural products.

The coordination takes place within mutual accords that also call for fighting desert locusts, he said.
