RAK to Build Three New Abattoirs

RAS AL KHAIMAH - Ras Al Khaimah Municipality will build
three new abattoirs by the year end, in Al Filayah near the livestock market,
another in Khozam and the third in the remote area of Adhan in Ras Al Khaimah, said Mubarak Ali Al Shamsi, chairman of the civic body.


Al Shamsi said besides reducing the burden on the emirate's only abattoir,
presently located in the old city area,there will be more animals slaughtered and peoplefrom far away places need not travel long distances for the purpose.
